Cable Construction

1.Phase Conductor (AAC Compacted)

All conductors shall be constructed to IEC 61089. The properties of the Aluminium wires before stranding shall be as below.

The Insulating Material shall be of black weather resistant cross linked thermosetting polyethylene (XLPE) conforming to IEC60502/IEC60811/ ASTM D 1603 and it shall be fully pressure extruded on the bare conductors of the phases / street lamp / neutral.
