6. Screening of copper wires with one or two copper tapes formed helically

–Application
Cable suitable for installation in cable ducts, power plants as well as for outer laying into earth, water of for installation in distribution boards. Due to its good shaping characteristics, this cable can also be laid even in difficult line guideways. To avoid the influence of the outer interferences, an adherent semi-conductive layer is extruded between the conductor and the insulation. We recommend the use of stripping tool for correct installation.

Description of Xlpe Insulated N2Xsy Power Cable:

Copper core PVC insulated and PVC sheathed steel wire armoured (SWA) power cable

1. Application
     PVC insulated power cable has excellent electrical properties and chemical stability, it is suitable for fixed laying in power transmission and distribution lines with AC 50Hz and rated voltage below 1KV.

2. Standard: IEC 60502, IEC 60228, IEC 60332

3. Using Features
     The long-term working temperature of conductor should be not more than 70oC ;
     The maximum working temperature of conductor should be not more than 160oC while short-circuit.
     The minimum bending radius of cable laying (D is diameter):  single core unarmoured cable is 20D, multi-core unarmoured cable is 15D, single core armoured cable is 15D, multi-core armoured cable is 12D.
     The environment temperature of cable laying should be not less than 0oC.
