Application

SGT Automotive Battery Cable is a part of our line of Automative Battery Cable. Rated at 50 volts, this SGT cable is perfect for wiring inside of an engine compartment as it can be used for a starter or in battery ground circuits. The cable’s recommended temperature range is -40°C to +105°C. Like others in the Automative Battery Cable line, it has a single stranded bare copper wire, but utilizes polyvinylchloride (PVC) insulation.

Color & Print Options: Available in standard battery circuit colors of black and red with optional custom printing available.
Stranding Options: SGT Cable is available with higher stranding.

SGT Battery Cable Applications:

Type SGT Battery Cable may be used in starter or battery ground circuits in accordance with SAE J-1127.
Recommended temperature range is -40°C to +105°C.
Manufactured to meet Ford (M1L-56A) and Chrysler (MS-3450) specifications

Type SGT is a multi-purpose battery cable designed for use in automotive and vehicular applications (e.g. car, bus, truck, tractor, heavy equipment, etc.) as well as a variety of industrial environments. Type SGT is UL listed, meets SAE J1127requirements, compliant to RoHS standards.
