3. Construction of XLPE Power Cable:
Conductor: Copper or Aluminium
Insulation: XLPE
Inner sheath: PVC
Armoured: Galvanized steel tape; Galvanized steel wire
Outer Sheath: PVC
NO. Of cable cross: 1 core(Single core), 2cores(Double cores), 3cores, 4cores(4 equal-section-area cores OR 3 equal-section-area+1 small section area neutral core), 5cores(3 equal-section-area cores+2 small area neutral cores OR 4 equal-section-area +1 small area neutral cores). We provide armoured type and non-armored type for the cables stated above. It also can do according to the customer’s request.
4. Characters of XLPE Power Cable:
A Max, rated nominal operating temperature of XLPE insulated cable is 90° C
B. Laying temperature of cable: In air 40° C, in soil 25° C. The cable is applied to fixed installation for rated voltage 3.5KVk for 5minutes, and the insulation is not brokendown.
C. Max short-circuit temperature is 250° C; Max for 5 Sec.
D. For laying, single core, triangle laying for three cables. Depth of laying in direct: 70cm, coefficient of thermal resistivity of soil: K. M/W. The cable can be laid without drop restriction, and environment temperature shall not be lower than 0° C
