600V Cathodic Protection Kynar PVDF / Hmwpe Cable Wire

 1.Application

A direct earth burial, DC lead, cathodic protection cable for use in deep anode groundbed installations, designed to
withstand corrosive gases.

2.Standards

1. Conductor
   Stranded bare copper conductor conforms to ASTM Specification B-8.
2. Insulation
   A homogeneous wall of natural PVDF fluoropolymer (Kynar) shall be extruded over the conductor.
3. Jacket
   Insulation is high molecular weight polyethylene conforming to ASTM-D-1248, Type 1, Class A, Category 5, Grades E4 and E5. Tensile Strengths Jl, J3. Available with high density polyethylene (Types II, III, IV) Class B and C (all colors). Surface printed. Custom printing available.

 3.Construction

Annealed, uncoated, stranded copper conductor, KYNAR OR  HMW polyethylene black insulation. Surface or indent printed.
Custom printing available.

 

 Halar / HMWPE

A direct earth burial DC lead cable for use in deep anode ground bed installations. Designed to withstand corrosive gases in brackish water conditions
The conductor is stranded bare copper conductor and conforms to ASTM specification B-8.  The insulation is a homogenous wall of natural ECTFE floropolymer (Halar®) extruded over the conductor.  The jacket is high molecular weight polyethylene conforming to ASTM D-1248, Type I, Class A, Category 5, Grades E4 and E5.  Tensile strengths J1, 53.  Available with High Density Polyethylene (Type II, III, IV) Class B and C (all colors). Surface printed.  Sizes AWG 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2.

Different wall thickness of Halar and HMWPE as well as various colors are available on special request basis.
