Application:
The cables are designed for aerial power transmission lines. ACSR is a steel strand for the core wire to increase the tensile strength, twisted on the outside of a layer or several layers of aluminum or aluminum alloy wire or steel core aluminum alloy stranded conductor. Aluminum wire with steel core is the most widely used type, because the steel core can withstand the tension suspended on the pole, can increase the pole spacing to reduce investment (especially high voltage lines) and prolong the life of the wire, enhance safety.
