Description:
Terminal connector is suitable for overhead transmission line or branch connection of 10KV overhead insulating cable. It consists of main body, main line gland, branch line gland and bolts. The product series cover three types like aluminum, copper as well as copper and aluminum transition. The main body of copper and aluminum branch clamp is adopted technics of flash welding, with reliable stable performance. Insulating cover will be matched with the clamp for insulation and protection.

Application:
The terminal connector is used in main bus bar or lead-down of other circuits, leads the main circuit to electrical equipment and terminal connector in intersection of two overhead electrical lines.In addition,it can be used in T connecting by wedge connection or compressed oval tube for wires with small sections.

Advantages & Disadvantages:
This terminal connector is light and material saving and with good contact and installed conveniently.However,once installed,it can not be removed and is suitable for constructions of new built small and medium substations. In order to improve electrical contact reliability,connecting one,two or three parallel groove clamp sets in series.The quantity of T connectors will be added when using three parallel groove clamps or above to make T connecting.
The terminal connector’s price is high and with unsightly appearance,only can be used as a temporary substitute when lacking terminal connector.Any type of terminal connector must be with enough contact pressure to get stable contact.The oxidation films in clamp groove should be removed seriously and the each bolts should be tightened uniformly.
