1.Application
ACSR have been widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels, because they have such good characteristics as simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, low cost large transmission capacity. And they are also suitable for laying across rivers valleys and the places where special geographical features exist.

2.Construction
ACSR, a non-homogenous conductor, is a concentric-lay stranded conductor made from round aluminum 1350-H19 (extra hard) wires and round, coated steel core wire(s). Several combinations of aluminum and steel strands and layers are available when designing ACSR conductors for overhead lines. Commonly used sizes are included here. Class A zinc coating (ACSR/GA2) is usually adequate for ordinary environments to protect the steel core wires from corrosion. 

3.Features 
The favorable strength/weight ratio, achieved by the lightweight, strong conductivity of aluminum coupled with the high tensile strength of steel, makes ACSR conductors a preferred choice for overhead power transmission and distribution projects. 
Steel strands provide mechanical reinforcement to handle higher line tensions, reduce sag, and achieve longer span lengths. ACSR conductors are also recognized for their dependable performance under adverse weather conditions.

After you pay the freight charge and send us confirmed files,  the samples will be ready for delivery in 3-7 days. The samples will be sent to you via express and arrive in 3-5 days. You can use your own express account or prepay us if you do not have an account.

(4)What about the lead time for mass production?
Honestly, it depends on the order quantity and the season you place the order. The best record we keep is delivering 10 kilometers cable within a week. Generally speaking, we suggest that you start inquiry two months before the date you would like to get the products at your country.
