1..Application
ACAR alloy overhead cable widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels, for they have the advantages as high mechanical strength, good conductivity, corrosion resistance, unit volume light, easy to set up, high temperature resistance, simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, large transmission capacity and are also suitable for laying across rivers and valleys where special geographical features exist.

2. Construction:
Aluminum conductor alloy reinforced(ACAR) has concentrically stranded aluminum 1350-H19 wire around a 6201-T81 aluminum alloy core. Typically, the 6201-T81 is the conductor core,but in certain designs, the 1350 H19 and the 6201-T81 wires may be stranded in the same layer.
