All Aluminum Conductor AAC

Application: Bare Conductor widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage levels. Bare stranded comductor are always erected on poles, which are traditionally called overhead conductors. The overhead conductor itself does not distinguish voltage levels, that is, in principle, the same series of conductors can be used from low voltage, medium voltage, high voltage or even ultra high voltage.

Advantages:
AAAC is designed utilizing a high-strength aluminum alloy to achieve a high strength-to-weight ratio; affords better sag characteristics. Aluminum alloy gives AAAC higher resistance to corrosion than ACSR.
AAC conductors have good mechanical properties and electrical conductivity.
