AAC has seen extensive use in urban areas where spans are usually short but high conductivity us required.

AAC Conductor Uranus 61/3.25mm 506mm2 Construction

AAC Conductor Uranus 506mm2 can be used in low and medium voltage overhead lines.It is a concentric-lay-stranded conductor consisting of aluminum 1350-H19 wires. It available in both single-layer and multi-layer constructions.

AAC Conductor Uranus 506mm2 strands 61 aluminums. The individual wire diameter are all same 3.25mm. The overall diameter for AAC Conductor Uranus 506mm2 is 29.3 mm. The conductor cross section is 506mm2 . After the cabling, the total linear mass is 1400 kg/km. Through the test, the calculated breaking load should be 75.2kN. At the 20ºC, calculate D.C. resistance should be 0.0572Ω/km.
