0.6/1KV XLPE or PE Insulated ABC Conductor 4x25mm2 2x25mm2  

Applications of abc conductor

Primarily used for 120 volt overhead service applications such as street lighting, outdoor lighting, and temporary service

for construction. To be used at voltages of 600 volts phase-to-phase or less and at conductor temperatures not to exceed 

75°C for polyethylene insulated conductors or 90°C for crosslinke

d polyethylene (XLP) insulated conductors.

Specification of  abc conductor

 CONSTRUCTION

(1)  Conductor :

 a) Phase- 

The phase conductors shall be of H68 Condition aluminum conductor and compacted circular stranded.

 b) Neutral or messenger

 The neutral or messenger conductor shall be of aluminum alloy conductor and compacted circular stranded.

 c) Street-Lighting-

 The street lighting conductors shall be of H68 Condition aluminum conductor and compacted circular stranded.

(2)  Insulation :

The phase,neutral and street lighting conductors shall be extruded with Polyethylene (PE)  or Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) as insulation.

(3)  Assembly

   The cable consists of insulated phase and street lighting aluminum conductors, shall be held firmly onto the

 insulated neutral messenger aluminum alloy conductor in a right hand (Z) lay.
