C and U Channel Steel Cross Arm

Description:
The U channel steel cross arm is a strip shape rolled steel with groove shape section.It is a kind of carbon structural steel for construction and mechanical use and a profiled steel with complex sections,of which the section is groove shape.It is generally used for building structure, curtain wall engineering, mechanical equipment and vehicle manufacturing and so on.

Types:
The channel steel cross arm can be divided into common type and light-weight type. It is mainly used in the building construction, vehicles manufacture and other industrial structures and fixed plate cabinets,etc., which is often used with joist steel.
The steel channel also can be divided into cold rolled equilateral channel steel, cold rolled unequal channel steel,cold formed inside edge channel steel and cold formed outside edge channel steel in accordance with the shapes.According to the theory of steel structure, it should be the channel steel flange force, that is, the channel steel cross arm should stand, not lie down.

Appearance requirements:
The allowable deviation of surface quality and geometric shape of channel steel is specified in the standard. Generally, it is required that the surface shall not have any harmful defects or significant torsion.The major incorrect performance of geometrical shape of U channel steel are angle leg extension and leg parallel and so on.
