Description:
The J type clamp belongs to shaped parallel groove clamp.The parallel groove clamp is used to connection of AAC or ACSR of small and medium-sized section and steel strand of overhead lightning wire in position that does not bear tensile force and jumper wire connection in non-straight line pole tower.
The J type clamp is one of the electrical power fittings used in power transmission and distribution system,which is composed of two elastic J components with the same wedge parts and one bolt.By socket spanner,the bolt could be tightened to make the J component tightly bonded. When finishing installation,one of the J component wedge part will generate acting force on the other to make the J component generate elastic deformation.Therefore,the J component provides constant contact force to wires and the force provided by two components are non-interfering.The bottom of two components are meshed and play a role of current carrying.However,the risk of installing J type clamps is high in current market,the installation personnel is in danger and two person are required to work at the same time in general in installation.
