1. Applications
Aluminum Covered Line Wire is designed for use on overhead secondary distribution lines. Covered Line Wire is not an electrically insulated conductor and is treated as a bare conductor when installed. The insulation provides protection against circuit interruption due to weather.

2. Construction
The conductors are 1350-H19 aluminum ,6201-T81 Aluminum Alloy , or ACSR conductors, concentrically stranded and covered for weather proofing with polyethylene, high density polyethylene(HDPE) or crosslinked polyethylene(XLPE).

3. Standard
ASTM B-230, ASTM B-231, ASTM B-1248, ASTM C-8.35, ICEAS-61-402
