General purpose wiring for lighting and power -residential,commercial, industrial buildings in accordance with the National Electrical Code, maximum conductor temperature of 75° C in wet or dry locations,for circuits not exceeding 600 volts.

When used as type TW, conductor is suitable for use in wet or dry locations at temperatures rated 60°C.

When used as type THW, conductor is suitable for use in wet or dry locations at temperatures rated 75°C.

When used as type THW–2, conductor is suitable for use in wet or dry locations at temperatures rated 95°C.
