Hot-DIP Galvanized Two Eye Extension Chain Ring Link

Description:
Link fitting are used to link clamps to insulator, or to link insulator and ground wire clamp to tower arms or subjection structure. Link fitting have special type and common type in accordace with mounting condition. The special type include the ball-eye and an socket clevis linking with insulator. The common type is usually pin connected type. They have differenct grades in according to the load and are exchangeable for the same grade.
Application:
The extension links are used at dead ends and corner structures to set the insulator string out from the pole or crossarm to provide more climbing space.Each link is made from two pieces of 1-1/2" x 3/16" steel that are fabricated, galvanized and then riveted together with a stainless steel rivet. Riveting after galvanizing assures that there is zinc between the two pieces of steel for maximum corrosion resistance.  The assembly has a 3/4" clevis opening with 5/8" diameter bolt and self-locking cotter.  The eye end has an 11/16" hole.
