Application: 
Aerial Bunch Cables are basically a compromise construction between Power cables and Overhead conductors. It is preferred to use of ABC cables instead of uninsulated conductors at low voltage networks. ABC cables are especially used at areas where the cost of underground networks is expensive and also for electrification of rural areas like villages. Bundles can include one or two additional conductors for public lighting and control pair.  

Aerial Bundled Cables (ABC) ,also named ABC Cable,XLPE Insulated ABC Cable,are composed of one or more concentric-lay-stranded Aluminum 1350 phase conductors insulated with an extruded layer of cross-linked polyethylene compound and assembled with one neutral conductor of All Aluminum Conductors (AAC); Aluminum-Alloy Conductors 6201-T81 (AAAC); Aluminum Conductors, Steel-Reinforced (ACSR); or Aluminum Conductors, Aluminum-Clad Steel Reinforced (ACSR/AW).

Application
Used to supply 3 phase power, usually from a pole- mounted transformer, to the user’s service head where connection to the service entrance cable is made. To be used at voltages of 600 volts or less phase to phase and at conductor temperatures not to exceed 75°C for polyethylene insulated conductors or 90°C for crosslinked polyethylene (XLP) insulated conductors.
Construction
Conductors are concentrically stranded, compressed 1350-H19 aluminum. Insulated with either polyethylene or XLP crosslinked polyethylene. Neutral messengers are concentrically stranded AAC/AAAC/ACSR. One conductor is manufactured with an extruded ridge for phase identification.
