1. Applications
Weatherproof line wire is used for overhead transmission and distribution lines. Covered line wire is not an electrically insulated cable. Therefore, it should be installed on insulators, and users should treat line wire as bare conductor for personal safety.
2. Construction
Conductors: Aluminum Covered Line Wire has a concentric strand 1350-H19, 6201 – T81 alloy or AAC,ACSR series aluminum conductor.
Insulation: Aluminum Covered Line Wire has a black high density polyethylene HDPE or cross-linked polyethylene XLPE insulation.
