POWER INSTALLATION CABLE-HF RZ1-K 1×240 Flexible halogen free (LSHF) power cable

RZ1-K 0.6/1kV is a halogen-free flexible power cable with low smoke emission and no fire propagation. Due to its flexibility, it is particularly suitable for use in complex industrial installations. They are also known as “halogen-free electrical hose”.

RZ1-K CABLE Technology

• 1. Conductor
  • Electrolytic annealed copper conductor, class 5 (flexible), according to
    
    EN 60228 and IEC 60228.
• 2. Insulation
  • Cross-linked polyethylene type XLPE according to IEC 60502-1 and type
    
    DIX-3 according to HD 603. The standard identification of insulated conductors according to HD 308 is the following:
  • 1 x Natural
  • 2 x Blue + Brown
  • 3 G Blue + Brown + Green/yellow
  • 3 x Brown + Black + Grey
  • 3 x + 1 x Brown + Black + Grey + Blue (reduced cross-section)
  • 4 G Brown + Black + Grey + Green/yellow
  • 4 x Brown + Black + Grey + Blue
  • 5 G Brown + Black + Grey + Blue + Green/yellow
  • 6 G or more Black numbered + Green/yellow.
• 3. Outer sheath
  • Low Smoke Halogen Free (LSHF) polyolefin outer sheath, type ST8 according to IEC 60502- 1 and type DMZ-E according to UNE 21123-4. Green color.

RZ1-K (AS) 0.6/1kV cable has excellent performance in the event of a fire: it does flame non-propagation, does fire non-propagation, is halogen-free, and has a low emission of smoke and corrosive gases. This is what is known as “halogen-free”, or LSHF (Low Smoke Halogen Free) cable, with B2ca and Cca classification according to the European CPR Standard. It is a cable that must be installed in public places such as shopping centres, airports, schools, etc.

RZ1-K 0.6/1kV cable is highly flexible and has good resistance to maximum and minimum temperatures, impact, chemical attack and ultraviolet rays. A flexible cable such as RZ1-K offers greater ease of handling and laying, as well as better adaptability to winding routes when laying. In addition, its easy-stripping jacket can save up to 30% in labour costs.
