The cable is designed to be used as an interconnecting cable for measuring, controlling or regulation in control equipment for assembly and production lines, conveyors and for computer units.

Due to the flexibility of YY cable, electricians commonly use YY for linking fixed and mobile equipment. If protected correctly electricians have found that YY can be useful in outdoor projects – however it is recommended and most commonly used for indoor projects in dry or moist conditions.

This product used as the wiring in devices of the power distributionunit, A.C. Rated voltage up to 450/750V.

Characteristic of use

1). The permissble long-term working temperature of the cable conductor: XLPE insulated is 90°C, PVC insulated is 70 °C. During the cable laying, the ambient temperature must be above 0 °C.

2). The permissible bending radius in cable laying and installing.

a). For unarmoured cable, it shall not be less than 6 times of external diameter of cable.

b). For armoured or copper tape screened cable, it shall not be less than 12 times of the external diameter of cable.

c). For the flexible cable with screen layers, it shall not be less than 6 times of the external diameter of cable.

The major technical Characteristies and requirements:

There are three types of conductive core: the first (A), the second (B) are suitable for fixed installation ( the first is solid conductor, the second is stranded conductor) and the third (R) is a flexible stranded conductor and applicable to the flexible cable that requires movement.
