Applications:
Cables THHN/THWN/THWN-2 are primarily used in conduit and cable trays, when approved, for services, feeders and branch circuits in commercial or industrial applications as specified in the National Electric Code.

Structure:

Conductor: soft plain copper, conforms to ASTM B3, B8. Tinned copper is optional.
Insulation: PVC, color can be black, red, blue, green, white, purple, orange, etc.
Jacket: Nylon

Working temperature:
THHN: in dry locations only at temperatures not to exceed 90°C.
THWN: in dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90°C, and wet condition not exceed 75°C.
THWN-2: in either wet or dry applications, with temperatures that do not exceed 90°C.
