The U shackle Detail:
70kn U clevis can be used at 33kv and 11kv termination points to attach the compressed
termination to the closest insulator in the chain. They can be used where 33kv lines are in
conflict with buildings and duplicate chain of overhead line fittings is used with H structure.
In this case, a socket clevis maybe required to attach the bottom insulator to the bottom dual
power line hardware and the ball end hook or eye link to the top dual yoke plate.
The closed pin is stainless steelwork, the other parts are hot-dip galvanized steel.
