LXAV Cable Application

LXAV Armored cables for power distribution. Suitable for outdoor fixed installations when it is necessary to protect the cable against mechanical aggression or against rodent’s threat, impact or crushing. Can be installed in ducts, or directly buried. Excellent mechanical protection during laying, installation and service.

Conductor: Stranded class 2, circular or sector-shaped to IEC 60228

Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene, to IEC 60502-1 Identification by colour to HD 308.S2

Armour bedding: Black extruded PVC separation sheath.

Armour: Double steel or aluminium tape armour. Aluminium armour is used in single-core cables to avoid parasite currents that may overheat the cable. Steel tape is used in the multicore cables.

Outer sheath: Flexible PVC outer sheath, Black colour
