Rubber Mining Cable

1.Application
Mining cables are often used to transport power deep into a mine shaft for powering and controlling mining equipment. They’re often subjected to mechanical abuse, extreme weather, extreme temperatures, moisture, abrasion, corrosive agents and highly explosive atmospheres. Due to the unforgiving environment, special standards are mandated for cables and electrical distribution in both open-pit and underground mining.

2.Operating Features
1) The allowed operating temperature of the core is 65°C when U0/U is 0.66/1.14kV and below, 85°C when U0/U is 3.6/6kV
2) Minimum bending radius is six times the size of cable diameter 
3) The yellow sheath cable should not be exposed in the sun for long time

Cable is supplied in wooden reels, corrugated boxes and coils. Cable ends are sealed with BOPP self adhesive tape and non-hygroscopic sealing caps to protect the cable ends from moisture. The required marking shall be printed with a weather-proof material on the outsides of drum according to customer’s requirement.
