ZHW2-12 Outdoor AC HV Metal-clad Ring Main Unit Switchgear (hereafter referred to as Outdoor Ring Main

Unit) is suitable for Outdoor distribution network of cable incoming and outgoing line with AC 50HZ, 12 kV rated

voltage.It is widely used in the industrial zone, residential area and commercial centers.As switchgear of RMU

Power supply or terminal power supply, it can break load current and break the short circuit current by fuse.It is

specialized in the power grids free of maintenance and with high degree of automation.This outdoor Ring Main

Unit has replaced the regular switching station and it cuts down the occupied area of outgoing cable largely and

the cost as well as reducing the loss of the cable.

Product feature:

A.This product has two structures.One is that the outdoor RMU is mounted with vacuum load switch and load

circuit breaker made by ourselves.It is resembled by weld and bent corrosion resistance plates.And smooth

rotating doors are fitted on the incoming and outgoing terminals (please open the door from down to up and

close or open the door on the side from up to down).While opening the door, the incoming and outgoing line

units and operating units of RMU can be seen.The incoming and outgoing line units are connected with cable

connectors and bushings, and the bushing are fixed under the operating panel, which makes it easy to connect

with cable.The operating mechanism is fixed in the front of the face plates in order to make the motor-drive

operation easy.The main components inside the RMU Switchgear are vacuum load switch and vacuum circuit

breaker, which can control and protect the incoming line and the outgoing line.The user can choose the

combined mode according to what they need.The typical scheme is two outgoing lines and two incoming lines

(composed of four main switches).At the same time, the current transformer, voltage transformer and lightning

arrestor and other elements are able to be fitted.

B.Another structure is that the outdoor RMU is fitted in imported SF6 RMU, product feature is:

It is feature by compact structure, small size, less occupied area and fine looking.The body is made of

compound plates and the ceiling is made of glazed tile.There is a RMU imported from Germany, the origin place,

which has the characteristics of seal, insulation, high reliability and being free of maintaining.The internal

malfunction electric arc restraint device is fitted in the RMU, which can provide the greatest level of protection

for personnel and equipments.It is easy to alternate the fuse for the SF6 RMU.When the fuse melts, it sends

mechanical indication signal.The fuse’dimension is complied with IEC Standards and it has remote control joints,

interlock of earthing switch.The function of mechanical interlock is complete, simple but reliable (complied with

“Five protection”requirement) and can prevent varieties of incorrect manipulation, besides it is in conformity with

GB3906-1991 and GB11022-1999 requirement.The dimension requested in the scheme of “two incoming line

and one outgoing line”scheme, 1400*900*1630( width*depth*height)..
