Product Description

RW12F series drop-out fuses are outdoor high-voltage protection appliances in power transmission and distribution systems. They are installed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or on branch lines of distribution lines, and are used for short-circuit and overload protection of transformers and lines, as well as split and combined load currents. The high-voltage ceramic drop-out fuse is composed of a ceramic insulating bracket and a fuse tube. The static contact is installed at both ends of the insulating bracket, and the moving contact is installed at both ends of the fuse tube. The fuse tube is composed of the inner arc suppression tube and the fuse tube. The outer layer is composed of phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube. The load drop type fuse enhances the elastic auxiliary contact and arc extinguishing cover to divide and combine the load current.

Melt tube structure:
Fuse take made of flberglsaa, damp-proof & corrosion-proof.
Fuse base:
Product base embedded mechanical structure and insulator. Install metal rod mechanism using special binder materials and insulator together , can with stand short-circuit current open the electric power.

How the product works

1. When working normally, fuse link tightened the fuse tube to be close position.
2. If system occur faults, big fault current melts fuse immediately and take place electric arc, which makesarc extinguishing tube being heated and explode a lot of gases. This will produce high pressure and blow off the arc along with tube.
3. After fuselink melt moving contact has no tightened strength, mechanism is locked and fuse tubedropout.
4. Cutout now is in open position. Operator shall use insulating Link Rod to pull the moving contact.
