6. Maximum wind speed doesn’t exceed 35m/s
Constructure Feature and Operation Principle
Product’s inside is consisting of non-line high quality metal oxide varistor. Outside is molded by silicone rubber.
Under the usual condition, the surge arrester has high resistance, having only microampere current and no effect on the equipment’s usual operation. When the overvoltage wave traverse, the surge arrester has low resistance, having kilo-ampere current and the surge arrester two-end voltage is still controlled allowable scope, so it protect the equipment from the overvoltage.
